[xdebug-general] Fatal error: Call to undefined function xdebug_start_profiling()

Hi,
 
System: Win2000
Server: WAMP5 Version 1.4.4
PHP Version: 5.0.4
Xdebug: xdebug-5.0-2.0.0beta1.dll
as per phpinfo():
This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine:
Zend Engine v2.0.4-dev, Copyright (c) 1998-2004 Zend Technologies
    with Xdebug v2.0.0beta1, Copyright (c) 2002, 2003, 2004, by Derick
Rethans
 
So xdebug works fine. Anyway I still have this error message when I try
to profile xdebug:
Call to undefined function xdebug_start_profiling() in...
 
What goes wrong? Thanks for your help.
